The former chair of three writing groups, Morgen has judged a variety of writing competitions include H.E. Bates Short Story Competition, RONE,  BBC Radio 2, BeaconLit 500-word competition, Chiltern Writers, Flash 500 competition, and Althorp Literary Festival children’s short story competitions as well as many for writing groups including Chiltern Writers, Slough Writers, and Lutterworth Writers. 

She is available to judge your writing competition, details available via email. My fee starts at £50 but depends on the amount and length of stories and whether you would like me to attend in person (I’m based in Aylesbury, Bucks) and/or Zoom.

Morgen also runs two competitions:

• a free 50-word story competition on her blog (with editing, mentoring and/or courses as prizes) ;
• an inexpensive ‘300 Words’ Flash Fiction Competition on her Self-Pub Fest website (with a shared prize pot).
